It was South Korea's first theme park that opened in 1976 as Yongin Farmland. It was transformed into the Everland theme park 6 years ago. And today it is the fifth most popular theme park in the world, beating out Epcot, Disney MGM and Disney's Animal Kingdom.
The park spreads across 3,700 acres and has three theme parks: Festival World, Caribbean Bay and the Speedway. There are 40 theme attractions as well as a zoo, plus seasonal festivals in Festival World. Speedway provides racing courses, when Caribbean Bay boasts both indoor and outdoor water options. Adults will also enjoy the golf course and the mix of Korean, Chinese and American cuisine.
Rates are 26,000 won ($19) for ages 13 and up and 18,000 won ($13) for children under 13.
